“Empowering Individuals, Healing Communities”

A passion for restoration

At LoveNow365, we are dedicated to supporting communities impacted by gun violence. Our mission is to disrupt the traumatic effects of gun violence by empowering individuals and communities through education, advocacy, and social support—fostering healing, transformation, and community restoration

Intervention

Our violence intervention programs focus on providing immediate support to individuals affected by gun violence. Through crisis intervention, counseling, and guidance, we help survivors navigate the emotional and practical challenges that follow a traumatic event.

Prevention

We implement prevention strategies aimed at reducing gun violence in communities. Our programs educate at-risk individuals, foster conflict resolution skills, and work with local legislators to create safer environments for youth and families.

Youth Empowerment & Mentorship

Operation Rescue is our targeted initiative to combat youth recidivism by intervening immediately after a young person’s interaction with law enforcement. This program focuses on personal development, life skills, and providing youth with positive role models to help them make informed, constructive choices.

Advocacy

We are victim advocates. We are the voice of gun violence survivors, ensuring their rights are protected and that they have access to the necessary resources. We work closely with community organizations and policymakers to push for systemic change and better support for those affected by violence.

Peer Support Groups

We offer a safe, supportive space for survivors of gun violence to connect with others who have had similar experiences. Through peer support groups, we foster healing, empowerment, and community, helping individuals process trauma and rebuild a sense of hope.

Education

We offer monthly training and workshops to empower, encourage, inspire and REBUILD.

“We believe LoveNow is the answer to breaking the cycle of violence, retaliation, and revictimization.”

About Us

LoveNow365 is a violence intervention and prevention program committed to empowering individuals to transform communities and disrupt the cycle of gun violence. We specialize in supporting non-fatal gun violence victims through direct victim services, advocacy, and social support. Our multi-disciplinary, trauma-focused team approaches healing from a public health lens, addressing the unique social, emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual needs of each survivor.

We believe that immediately following a life-threatening or life-altering event is a critical window for intervention. Survivors are often in crisis, and it is in these vulnerable moments that LoveNow365 offers an opportunity to interrupt the cycle of retaliation and revictimization. Every participant is partnered with a Transformation Specialist to develop an individualized plan focused on personal goals and strategies for healing and community re-engagement.

Our Story

LoveNow was born out of personal tragedy and a calling for change. In 2010, our founder, Monique Mitchell, lost her cousin, Eric Williams, to gun violence in West Baltimore. This devastating loss inspired Monique to coordinate a citywide prayer vigil, “More Than Just a Number,” igniting her journey into violence prevention. Her work spanned roles at Roberta’s House, the Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention, and the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City. While advocating for homicide victims, she identified a critical gap in services for non-fatal shooting survivors—thus, LoveNow was born.

In 2023, Monique relocated to Charlotte, NC. Alarmed by the spike in youth crime and gun violence—particularly the revelation that 385 youth were responsible for over 3,200 arrests—she felt a renewed urgency to act. LoveNow evolved into LoveNow365, expanding its reach from Baltimore to Charlotte, and its mission from violence intervention alone to holistic community restoration.

Our Impact Goals

  • Significant reduction in cycles of trauma and recidivism
  • Substantial decrease in youth-involved gun violence
  • Communities where individuals—especially young people—feel safe, supported, and empowered
  • Strengthened pathways for personal transformation and community restoration

At LoveNow365, we believe that transformation starts with one person, one act of love, and one moment of intervention. Together, we will restore what violence has broken—brick by brick, life by life.
